Atle Knutsen

Mr. Knutsen has more than 50 years’ experience in the shipping, terminal, and logistics industries.

As a senior advisor to CHW, Mr. Knutsen is responsible for introduction and negotiation agreements with international companies with potential to be complementary and strategic partners with Clean Hydrogen Works within product off-take, equity partnerships and strategic logistic service partners.

​

Prior to joining CHW, he spent a 43-year career in various management positions in shipping, terminal, and logistics activities with the Odfjell SE Company. He has worked at and developed business strategy in overseas offices, holding the positions of Senior Vice President of Odfjell Tankers and President of Odfjell Terminals. Following his retirement from the company, Mr. Knutsen has consulted for several international companies within chemical shipping, logistics, technology, and industry.

Mr. Knutsen received a degree from Rogaland Distriktshøgskole (now the University of Stavanger) in Administration and Shipping as well as having completed management courses at INSEAD.
