Yanning Luo has over 30 years of experience in technology development, engineering design and project management. As Senior Vice President, Technology & Engineering at Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW), she leads technology and engineering for the development of a world-scale clean hydrogen/ammonia project, Ascension Clean Energy (ACE), in collaboration with strategic shareholders Denbury, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), and Hafnia.
Prior to CHW, Yanning played a key role in the development of a $2.5 billion gas-to-methanol facility at Northwest Innovation Works (NWIW), where she led technology selection, license agreement negotiations, and FEED execution while overseeing EPC contract negotiations. Earlier, she spent over a decade at BP, serving as Engineering Director at CECC and Project Engineering Team Leader at BP Zhuhai PTA Plant. She also contributed to large-scale ammonia, urea, and methanol projects at Hualu Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd.
Yanning holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University and is a registered senior process engineer.
