Mitch Silver

Mitch Silver has more than 40 years’ experience in maritime logistics, petrochemical & energy project consultancy. At CHW, he leads all matters related to shipping and logistics.

Mr. Silver is a founding partner of Distribution Consulting Services, Inc. (DCS), specializing in strategic maritime logistics consultancy for multinational companies in the chemical and liquefied gas transport, previously a Joint Venture company of the world’s largest publicly traded international marine consultancy and ship brokerage firm. At DCS, Mr. Silver has helped design and supervise the construction of numerous ships including gas carriers for the transport of ammonia. He has also previously served as a Senior Advisor to Northwest Innovation Works (NWIW-K).

Mr. Silver received an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the City College New York (CCNY) and is a Licensed Professional Engineer with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (#75305).
